In December 2024, Kazanorgsintez opened its upgraded unified quality control centre. A large-scale modernisation project of the central plant laboratory was completed in a building that houses 28 divisions and more than 250 employees. The investment amounted to 1.9 billion roubles.
Almost two years have passed since then. And this is a great occasion to look back and assess the result.
What has changed?
Previously, the enterprise's laboratories were scattered across different sites. Now they are united in a single space where quality control runs continuously – from raw material acceptance to finished product release.
The level of automation has risen to 70%. The laboratory has upgraded more than 300 pieces of equipment, and 60% of it is domestically produced.
Where do we come in?
Chromatographic equipment is the heart of any analytical laboratory at a petrochemical enterprise. It makes it possible to separate complex mixtures into components and determine their composition with the highest accuracy.
Our chromatographs and NetChrom software have been operating at Kazanorgsintez for years. And the fact that the enterprise chose them to equip its upgraded laboratory is recognition that our equipment meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Two years – all systems go!
Over this time, the upgraded centre has proven its effectiveness. The speed of quality control has increased, processes have become more stable, and employees have gained a modern workspace. The laboratory continues to operate with the same intensity as on the first day after opening.
This is especially important to us. The stable, complaint-free operation of our equipment at such a large enterprise is better than any advertisement.
What does this mean for the industry?
Kazanorgsintez is one of Russia's largest petrochemical enterprises. The plant's products are used in the manufacture of polymers, pipes, films, and many other materials without which modern life is hard to imagine.
When an enterprise like this invests almost 2 billion roubles in quality control, it sets a benchmark for the entire industry, where quality is becoming a priority.
