Unit of propylene steaming

The unit is designed to simulate decontamination of a cracking catalyst in a fluidized bed in industrial environment.

The method of cyclic propylene steaming is the conduct of redox cycles at set temperature (about 800°C) and time, simulating the operation of reactor-regenerator cycles at catalytic cracking units.

Samples are obtained as a result of this catalysts deactivation in a laboratory environment, which are identical in the active surface terms area and the size of a single cell to samples of industrial equilibrium catalysts for FCC (Fluid catalytic cracking). At the same time, the content of coke and sulfur compounds on the catalyst is similar to industrial samples.
