Multi-component analysis of gas chromatography allows to solve many analytical problems in the field of petrochemistry and chemistry. For example, it is possible to analyze the composition of petroleum products using a chromatograph: calculate the octane number for gasoline, determine the density and fractional composition of vapors. The equipment makes it possible to detect benzene and other aromatic compounds in gasoline or the content of volatile organochlorine compounds in oil.
