Unit for testing activity and selectivity of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts in fluidized bed according to ASTM D7964/D7964M-14

The unit for testing activity and selectivity of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts in a fluidized bed (hereinafter referred to as the unit) is designed to test activity based on the mass conversion rate of the feed gas oil in fluidized bed reactor and carbon mass rate of the initial gas oil deposited on the catalyst.

Unit solves following tasks:

- Testing of the cracking catalyst activity by the feedstock conversion rate at different ratios of the catalyst/feedstock.

- Testing of the cracking catalysts selectivity according to the cracking products composition; calculation of gas and coke factors at various catalyst/feedstock ratios.

- Evaluation of suitability for processing various types of raw materials.

- Kinetic parameters of the cracking process research.

Technical characteristics

The unit has a modular structure and designed for operation in a dry, heat room with forced ventilation.

Unit electrical safety complies with the requirements of state standard: "The system of occupational safety standards. Medical equipment products. Electrical safety. General technical requirements and test methods."

Unit average service life is 5 years.
