From January 1, 2022, a new GOST 31371.7-2020 is being introduced. To use GOST 31371.7-2020, you need to install software to perform calculations in accordance with GOST 31371.7-2020. The program for calculations in accordance with GOST 31371.7-2020 is called NetChromGas-2020. Modification of the chromatograph is not required, provided that the list of determined components and the measurement method do not change: method A or method B according to GOST 31371.7-2008. When working according to the method B GOST 31371.7-2020, confirmation of the linearity of the calibration characteristic of the working range of measurements of the analyzed components will be required. For laboratory chromatographs, the area will need to be corrected to normal conditions. This can be done in two ways:
- manually setting the current temperature and pressure;
- automatically using a device for measuring ambient temperature and pressure, which can be supplied as a USB stick and installed in the USB connector of a computer.
For the new program NetChromGas-2020, a new electronic key is required; the program will not work with the old electronic key. The certificate for NetChromGas-2020 is expected in the 4th quarter of 2021 and will be freely available on the firm's website.
