The hardware and software system for measuring of chromatographic signals "Meta-chrom" (complex) is designed to automate the old park of chromatographs such as LHM, model-3700, “Tsvet” series, etc. in terms of measuring the chromatographic signal and automation of processing of chromatographic information. The complex consists of two interconnected functional modules: logarithmic digital current meter (LDCM) and program for processing of chromatographic information "NetChrom" (further in the text processing program).

LDCM receives an analog signal (current), converts it into a digital code and transmits it to a personal computer. The processing program installed on a personal computer provides the operator with the functions of visual observation of the chromatogram, mathematical methods of its processing and storage methods. LDCM is assembled on the basis of 24-bit ADC.
LDCM is used to replace the amplifier FID of the old models of chromatographs of IMT-05 type, while the current measurement is done in the range from 1×10-14
